Intervideo WinDVD in its Gold or Platinum version is the latest version of WinDVD in which they have improved the audio and video quality and added some totally new functions. Intervideo WinDVD is a simple to use DVD player with all the functions of a standard domestic DVD player, but offers much more, like DivX® admission, Dolby® Virtual Speaker and video effects.
It also includes a cinema encyclopedia; when you watch a DVD you can consult information about the stars, the director, other movies they`ve done, and much more.

Intervideo WinDVD also allows gamma correction, audio decodifying at 96 kHz/24 bits, LanguageMate, Windows Media admission and many more functions.

This is the shareware version, but there are two pay versions: Gold and Platinum, each one with special characteristics.
